A chicken bus is an ancient school bus purchased from the USA and brought down into Guatemala. Operated by a 2 man team consisting of a driver and a helper they are lavishly decorated with images of Jesus and Looney Tunes. It is the most common means of transportation amongst working class Guatemalans.
Luggage goes on the top, also not uncommon to see people riding on the top.

My mother is a talented woman. In the Soviet Union she developed her own film and printed it as well. For years now I’ve been hassling her to get a camera that would match her talents more appropriately. Finally this Christmas she did and with spectacular results.
