Sian Ka’an is a biosphere reserve in the Quintana Roo state of Mexico. It is massive and relatively undeveloped save a few small towns. Tucker and myself decided to charge the dirt roads to make it to Punta Allen. The original journey was through the night and can be read about in the journal ‘Chasing Maya’ these photographs are a series of traversing back to Tulum from Punta Allen in the day.I almost ran over several crabs, a tarantula, and some odd slow moving birds.
